Lucas Gibson

Mr. Gibson is a senior vice president in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy.  He currently serves on the boards of ConTeras Industrial Group, LPW Group, and Vantage Point Solutions and as a board observer of System One and Aecon Utilities Group.  He previously served as a board member or officer at Fidelity Building Services Group, Renewable Energy Infrastructure Group, Signal Energy, Sterling Solutions, and Trench Plate Rental Co.  Prior to joining Oaktree in 2019, Mr. Gibson was a senior associate at Sole Source Capital, a private equity firm focused on the industrials sector.  Mr. Gibson started his career at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, where he focused on evaluating and executing tax equity investments in the renewable energy sector.  Mr. Gibson received a B.A. cum laude in physics and economics from Colgate University.
